AND+FTP ™ Features
Creating a new project simply requires you to select an existing Visual Studio
project file (*.csproj, *.vbproj) and either choose or definine an FTP site.
When the project is open, the source project file tree and FTP site file tree
appear in the main window (below). After modified files are Copied to
the FTP site, the Copy Project file is normally saved in the same folder as the
Visual Studio project. The Copy Project file is easily opened the next
time the project is deployed.
To make the deployment process fast, the FTP site's folders/files are normally
scanned only once when the project is created. Thereafter, the FTP tree
structure is maintained based on the source files copied, or destination files
deleted. Timestamps of source files are saved to determine which files
have been modified or added since the last deployment. When the project is
loaded, these files are automatically Checked as the only files to be
copied to the FTP site when the project is deployed.
